Harry Potter and The Sad Case Movies he has to Endure

The title of my blog gives it away that I'm very much annoyed with the Harry Potter movie franchise.

It all began with this..

Directed by Alfonso Cuaron, after the Chamber of Secret and the Philosophers Stone, the Prisoner of Azkaban was dark beyond DARK. What semmed in the book as a clear bright movie as Harry discovered the existence of his godfather and more about his parents murder, was turned into something DARK, EVIL AND DANGEROUS. No doubt that the effects were unmistakingly good and brillian, but does that mean it had to be soo dark?? I dont think so..

The darkness carried on in The Goblet of Fire. The clear theme of the book, friendship and endirance was drowned by the darkness of the Death Eaters and Lord Voldemort.

The effects of this movie was the best. Undenyingly the best that any fan of Harry Potter could ask for. But again, did it have to be so Dark yet again? May be i'm exaggerating, but I found the movie dark and useless because of the unfilmed parts that were in the book.

MOving on to the Order of the Phoenix.

With so many deleted scenes that were in the book, I really didn't like the movie. Though the scene where Sirius Black, Harry's godfather died, moved me to tears, the rest of the movie wasn't that nice. AGain, you may think I'm exaggerating but this is just MY OPINION!!

Then came along the Half-Blood Prince by David Yates and boy was this movied DULL!! But hey, it was the best among the last three. The ending was disappointing because the death od Albus Percival Wulfric Brian Dumbledore, the headmaster of the school was made insignificant and emotionless.

The rest of the movie was fantastic and amazing. Best of the other three.

And so,I hope that the Deathly Hallows, which has been divided into two parts much to my gladness, will be equally good and promising!

WIth Love,
Alvin Moses
